As long as there is someone to blame, we are in the clear! That’s the Lebanese mentality as always. No I’m not talking about you in particular, only the majority who’s like that! And boy do we get away by blaming the government, or the fact that it doesn’t exist, maybe.
After visiting Sour yesterday I noticed that the beach is extremely dirty, most of the people are leaving their trash behind! and by Trash I mean everything you could possibly think of; from Soda cans to plastic plates, fruits leftovers, I even saw half a man2oushe bathing in the sun !
I only took one picture to showcase how dirty it was and posted it on Facebook knowing that if I had waited a bit longer for when people started departing I could have gotten an even worse scenery.
I am not sure how realistic this might be! And I hope her mom doesn’t walk around picking up her litter from everywhere she goes. It is not like we do not want public beaches! But yes with everything we are seeing, saying that we don’t deserve them is the least one could say.
This dude thinks that yes we need cleaner beaches but it’s the government that needs to take care of that!(too many explanation marks bas moush adra!
And another example :
Well of course the government is responsible to some extent, and of course the beaches should be monitored and cleaned frequently and all that shit. But maybe, just maybe if we are irresponsible enough to not take care of our beaches then we don’t actually deserve one in the first place!
